My poem expresses the passion I felt dreaming of the moment I would reunite with my love in Denali National Park, Alaska. Here is an excerpt of my poem, “I picture us there, the end of our rainbow/Lips closing the gap/Rivers joining under midnight sun/Ever bright, though night has fallen/Falling again as lips meet/Monday, Tuesday, and on and on/Time blurs when I think of it…” The photograph was taken during my subsequent visit to Denali.
