“The River Calls” by Laura Garrard 10×10” framed hand-tinted print and handwritten poem. The words of this poem came to me after touring Yellowstone National Park’s Prismatic Spring. Here is an excerpt: “It calls, the river/The river says follow me/Follow your heart/I will take you there…” My tinted photograph features a dragonfly alighting on my hiking shoe while I sat contently beside a river.
