“Free and Vulnerable” In this fourth abstract of “Where God Meets Us,” my expression and color choices become playful and free. Enter red, the first or root chakra color that relates to family, security and support. When we leave our burdens behind and rely on our connection to Spirit, our hearts brighten and lighten and we experience life like children do. My poem “Nothing But the Soul I Wear” says, “When God and I finished talking/All that was left was He/I arose a blank slate, at peace/Free and vulnerable, feeling new and clean/Asking new questions, seeing with new eyes/I ordered ice-cream because I was a child…”
