“Spirit Dance” by Laura Garrard

“Spirit Dance” I painted this spiritually energetic abstract following my first training in energy healing. In the center of the painting, a Native American fancy dancer appeared to me of his own accord. I brought this image forward with slight brushstroke touches to create an eagle feather, the outline of a headdress, and a black braid. Therefore, this piece found its place with my Pipe Ceremony series along with “Prayers Rising” and “Peace Arising Becoming Spring.”
