Description

Do you know a combat wounded veteran?  If you do then refer him/her to us!  Honoring Our Veterans, honorvets.org , is a non profit organization based in Jackson, Wyoming that helps veterans heal.   Apply here for one of our photography classes or fly fishing classes.

The courses are all based in Jackson, WY.

Instructors for Photography are: Cathy Aronson, Dave Chudnov, and Alec Johnson

2020 Photography Courses are: June 20-27, and September 12-19

The days are very full.  On a typical day we photograph in the morning at a location in Grand Teton National Park and then return to our condos for lunch.  There are classroom sessions and also a print day where every veteran gets to make a large print of an image taken during the workshop.   Most days we photograph in the afternoon and at sunset as well as a night shoot where we get to view the milky way (weather permitting).

The motto that our instructors live by is, “any question any time as many times as you need to ask it”. We understand that there is a steep learning curve and we have photography gear to loan each veteran.   Depending on the workshop we get to go to a dude ranch and photograph “ranch roping” with wranglers working the ranch and livestock.  In the June workshop we often get to go to the Jackson Hole Rodeo.
